Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis Skull

Discovered in the Demopolis Chalk of Alabama, Appalachiosaurus is a unique theropod found in marine sediments. Usually this means the specimen died and was carried out to sea, where it sank and decomposed, buried in the marine silt. As a primitive theropod, it had long arms and a long skull with more teeth than the T.rex! Complete skeleton is also available for purchase.
